She hides the silver and gold ballgown in the very back of the closet in her late mother's long-abandoned room - no one but her ever goes in there anymore, so no one will ever find her hidden treasure.

For the prompt "world" - Rapunzel (Into the Woods):

When your entire world has been four grey walls and a window-framed patch of sky, how can you dream of denying a boy who wears the world like a velvet cape?
